Dr Leila Dehghan

Founder and Lead Instructor Leila Dehghan

Dr Leila Dehghan is a doctor turned nutritionist and personal trainer. She received her medical degree from the University of Vienna and completed her internship in the UK. Her debilitating migraines compelled her to quit her medical career. Driven by her ethical beliefs, Leila adopted a vegan lifestyle and eventually healed her migraines by following a whole food plant-based diet. This transformation led her to pursue a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate at eCornell, affiliated with Cornell University, and a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from the University College of London. As an amateur martial artist she takes a keen interest in sports nutrition and has previously contributed to a clinical handbook by authoring the chapter "Plant-based nutrition for Athletes" and have also developed a lecture on the topic for the short course on Plant-Based Nutrition at the University of Winchester. As an educator, Leila enjoys spreading awareness about the benefits of plant-based diets for athletes and other health-conscious individuals.
